Engineered to take the hit.
Three layers. A durable top skin, a shock-absorbing thermoformed fluted core, and a protective anti-slip base.
Test the limits.
Move your mouse over the board to simulate tool drops. The core spreads the load so your floor doesn’t have to.
Peels back clean.
No residue. No damage. Just the floor you started with.
PP Bubble Guard · temporary floor protection
The floor is already finished. Everything after this is risk.
Triple-layer polypropylene board that takes the damage instead of the stone underneath it. Scroll to lay it.
What it is
Three layers, one job
A plain polypropylene skin, a thermoformed cone core, and another plain skin, welded together. The core is what does the work: it takes an impact and spreads it, so the load never reaches the floor as a point.
It is waterproof, so grout slurry and paint sit on top instead of soaking through. It is a single polymer, so it recycles without separating laminates. And because it is rigid rather than woven, it can be lifted at the end of a phase and laid again on the next one.
Takes the damage
Impact, abrasion and dropped tools land on a consumable sheet instead of a finished floor you cannot patch.
Stops the wet trades
Waterproof and chemical resistant. Grout slurry, paint and solvent stay on the surface rather than etching the stone underneath.
Comes back up clean
Lifts without residue on polished and oiled finishes, and stores flat for reuse across later phases.
On site
Four steps, one crew, no specialist tools
A two-person team covers roughly 400 m² an hour. The only tools are a knife and a roll of low-tack tape.

Grades
Pick by what is walking on it
GSM is the number that matters, not thickness. It tells you how much polypropylene is actually in the sheet, which is what determines whether it survives a loaded trolley or splits under one.
By trade
The damage is different for everyone
A tiler is fighting slurry. A mover is fighting one loaded trolley for one day. A fit-out contractor is fighting a landlord’s handover clause. Same board, different grade and different argument.
Interior designers
Scuffed stone and scratched timber discovered at snagging, after the trade responsible has demobilised.
Construction companies
Whole-floor replacement charged back against the main contract at practical completion.
Builders
A single damaged floor wiping out the margin on the whole job.
Flooring contractors
Adhesive failure, trapped moisture, or shadowing under sheet that was laid too soon or sealed too tight.
Marble, granite & tile installers
Etching and staining on polished stone, usually not visible until the floor dries, by which point it is a replacement, not a clean.
Furniture movers
Damage claims against the move, on floors you did not install and cannot inspect properly beforehand.
Fit-out companies
Dilapidations and reinstatement costs charged at handover against a floor you never chose.
Commercial fit-out contractors
Slip incidents, tenant complaints, and access being pulled by centre management mid-programme.
